NC A&T Sports Hall of Fame Golf Tournament

ric 1 - CopyYou don’t have to possess the skill set of professional golfer to participate and enjoy the experience that the 7th Annual Golf Tournament presented by the NC A&T State University Sports Hall of Fame. All that is required is a desire to have fun and compete against others who share the same passion.

Scheduled for September 13th, 2013, the tournament will take place at Crooked Tree Golf Course in Browns Summit, N.C. Event organizer Richard Lide expects this years tournament to surpass all previous ones in regards to attendance, participation, and fun.

The purpose of this event is provide financial assistance to the NC A&T Athletic Department and promote the rich Aggie heritage of athletic excellence in all sports. This Aggie SHOF is a non-profit organization and all proceeds will support scholarship efforts.
Format is Captains Choice. Beginning at 7:00am with on site registration, Tee time will take off at 8:00am sharp. Prizes include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd & 4th Place Awards. (Longest Drive – Men & Women, Closest to the Pin Par 3 – Men & Women). The cost to participate is $85 (per Golfer), or $340 (per four person team).

There are sponsorship packages available for groups and organizations. Sponsorship packages are available. They include a Title Sponsor for $5000, company name and/or Logo on site at all HOF Events, VIP entrance to Reception, Luncheon and Hospitality Activities, and four (4) HOF Game tickets. Gold sponsorship for $3000 offers a One Half Page Ad in Souvenir Booklet and four (4) HOF tickets. Blue Sponsorship for $2000 offers two (2) HOF Game Tickets, and logo in HOF brochure.

The NC A&T SHOF is lead by President Garry Blackwell, Golf Chairperson Richard Lide, Golf Committee members Ralph Brown, Vern Stallings, Levarry Covington, Craig Thompson, Jerry Kimbrough, and Patricia Wall.
