Nakeyta began her business in June of 2017, while thinking of ideas for her baby shower. “I started working on
building balloon columns and arcs. When others seen my work, they started asking for them. I started
practicing so that I could get better, and the rest is history,” she says.

What Nakeyta loves most about being an entrepreneur is working with others to help their visions come true. “I love to see my customer’s faces when I design something for their party, baby shower and weddings. It makes it all worth it, knowing that I was able to take an idea from a conversation and bring it into reality,” she says.

Some of the challenges she has faced in business are handling the huge tasks and difficult jobs. “When a client gives me big tasks, it can be very stressful. I must take the information they have provided and produce a product that is unique and specific to them. In order to do this, I have to set my mind to the task and allow my creative juices to flow,” says Nakeyta.

The feedback she receives is confirmation that Nakeyta is fulfilling a purpose in her life. With each client she strives to provide a unique experience that will make their special event or occasion a day to remember. While she pours herself into the creations, she also ensures her clients expectations are met.

For others who may follow in her footsteps, or are thinking about starting a business, Nakeyta advises them to keep pushing never give up. “You will never know how good you are, or how good you will be if you do allow yourself the opportunity to grow,” she says
